La traversée de la rivière de la migration des gnous, qui débute en juillet, se déplace vers le nord et passe par la région de Lobo et de Wagakuria, en route vers la réserve de chasse Masai Mara du Kenya. En septembre, les troupeaux de gnous se répartissent dans le nord du parc national du Serengeti et dans la réserve Masai Mara du Kenya. Plusieurs grands troupeaux de gnous restent dans la région et les changements météorologiques peuvent parfois ramener les troupeaux du Mara dans la région. En octobre, les troupeaux se déplacent vers le sud, vers le centre du parc national du Serengeti, en passant par la zone de Lobo du parc national du Serengeti.
On your drive from Arusha sit back and enjoy the scenic views of the changing vegetation. The drive will approximately take you two hours. You will be able to see different human activities such as farms and stones quarried from the roads. You might also see Maasai boys with their cattle grazing or moving in search of water and grass.
Lake Manyara National park though a small park is perfect for bird watching. Games in Lake Manyara include elephants, wildebeests along with so many giraffes, and buffaloes. In addition, the park is also very famous for its large number of zebras, impalas, warthogs, and waterbucks.
After the adventure of the day, you will head to Karatu overnight.

After breakfast, we proceed to the Central part of Serengeti. This park is well-known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the "big five", named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffaloes, and Rhinos.

After breakfast, we will set off on a full day game drive in the wilderness following the Great Migration trails. Our experienced driver tour guide will provide you with interesting facts about this highly renowned event, which makes Tanzania the top safari destination in Africa.
Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site, is home to around 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle, which join in the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of over six million hooves pounding the open plains. This is just like you imagined Africa to be!

We will proceed for a full-day game drive viewing the great migration in the Mara area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area. The key feature is the Mara River and there is a great chance to see the herds cross the Mara River to the north on one day and back south a few days later. Please note that it can be very difficult to witness crossing and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to the river and only decide to cross a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation, and open plains, similar to Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve.

After breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti north viewing the great migration at the Mara area. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note that finding a crossing is very challenging and is sometimes a matter of luck. There are instances where herds can be seen next to the river but then only decides to cross a couple of days later. In the morning, we will have another game drive in Serengeti National Park. Come afternoon, we proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Olduvai Gorge museum, a famous archaeological location in East Africa. At Laetoli, located 45 km south of Olduvai gorge, you will find hominin footprints preserved in volcanic rock that dates back 3.6 million years ago and represent some of the earliest signs of mankind in the world.

We start with an early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. Drive to Tarangire National Park after early breakfast. Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is a Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you'll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home of tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards.
Later after this awesome game drive, you will be transferred to Arusha.
